1. What this product is

SEE Command is a supplier-enablement workbench. An operator keeps a book of companies, finds someone to talk to, emails or calls them, and moves each record through a simple status.

It is not a second CRM, a marketing site, or a generic lead-gen toy. The job is:

Open Today → pick who to work → open the record → add a contact if needed → preview and send email, or call → update status / follow-up.

There is a second workspace, General Leads, for file-based calling and email (import a list, dial the file, send a blast). It shares login, email tools, and recordings with SEE, but it is a different job.

2. Who it is for

RoleWhat they do here
Operator / RM / enablementWork the book: contacts, email, call, follow-up
Pilot leadInvite a small set of users, watch spend, do not delete real rows
AdminUsers, credits, service health
Not for (yet)Untrained public users, high-volume Discover blasting, deleting production suppliers

3. Design principles (locked)

These decisions were made so an end user can finish a job without learning two products.

  1. One job per screen. Today = what to do. Book = the list. Discover = add companies. The record = do the work.
  2. Plain language. No journey jargon in the operator UI. Statuses use words like New lead, Outreach sent, In conversation.
  3. No vendor brands in the UI. Company lookup and enrichment stay unnamed. Partner file names are redacted in labels.
  4. Never lie about counts. Work cards open the slice they claim.
  5. Spend is visible in action. Enrich, score, find contacts, Discover search, email, and call all cost money. Default batch work scores only — enrich is opt-in.
  6. Preview before a paid send from the supplier record. Drawer email shows company + recipient, then Send or Cancel.
  7. Do not delete real supplier data. Archive campaigns or hide UI. Do not wipe the book.
  8. Helper text stays visible. Copy is not hidden until hover.

4. Product decisions

DecisionChoiceWhy
Two workspacesSEE and General LeadsSupplier book vs list/file outreach.
SEE sidebarToday / Book / Discover / Lead email / Call recordingsToday and Book were two homes. Discover was buried. File tools stay, with clearer names.
Discover labelDiscoverFind companies by city, then add them to the same book.
Email & recordings in SEERename, do not hideLead email / Call recordings work on leads files, not the open supplier.
Book pipelineOne status listBook status is the pipeline. Journey was removed from Reports.
Default General nicheTechRestaurant did not match this product. Restaurant is still a chip.
QA campaignsArchive (not delete)Test campaigns stay under Archived only.
Drawer emailReview before sendPrevent accidental sends.
Empty who-to-workAdd supplierOld link went to a dead route.
Real partner rowsKeep data, hide brands in labelsEvaluator-safe copy. Stored values unchanged.
ReleasePilot on seecommand.comEmail and calling already worked. Remaining issues are friction.

Still open (not blocking the pilot)

  • Folding Today + Book + Discover into one nav without page tabs
  • Cutting Today’s repeated queues
  • Cutting the drawer to one primary action
  • Whether Lead email / Call recordings become supplier-native later
  • Visual restyle of the workspace picker

5. Information architecture

            Email same file-email app
            Recordings same file-recordings app
            Reports outreach reports

Switch workspace is always in the sidebar. The supplier record is a drawer on top of Book / Today / Discover — not a separate app.

6. Scope — Today

The daily home.

In scope

  • Book snapshot: in the book, touched today, in conversation
  • Work cards (tap opens a filtered book): Need a contact, Ready to reach out, Waiting on a reply, Follow-up due
  • Who to work next (ranked rows with one action)
  • Where the book sits (status mix; click a stage to open that slice)
  • Recent activity (work, email, calls, stage, imports)

Out of scope on Today

  • Editing a record (open the row / card)
  • Starting Discover search
  • File-wide email blast

7. Scope — Book

The list of suppliers assigned to the signed-in user.

How Today opens the book

CardWhat you get
Need a contactRecords without a usable contact
Ready to reach outHas a contact; status still New / Gathering / Ready
Waiting on a replyOutreach sent
Follow-up dueFollow-up date today or overdue

Import

  • Accepts CSV or Excel
  • Recognizes a partner-style layout (company, customer, outreach result, remittance email/phone, fees)
  • Any other sheet still works — you map columns once
  • New rows land in the book (not a second list)

Reports

  • Date ranges, source file, tier, owner, industry, state, workflow, lead source
  • Buyer, category, tag, activity type, multi-status
  • Export the full matching set
  • No Journey / Book stage filter (removed on purpose)

8. Scope — Discover

Find companies by city or town (optional state, country, industry, name, employee band). Pick rows. Add them to the same book.

The UI promises: Find → Add → Ready → Send.

  • In scope: preview matches, select, add to book, then work them in Book or the record
  • Out of scope: a second pipeline or extra tabs

Each Pull is a paid company-lookup search. Do not spam it in a demo.

9. Scope — the supplier record

This is where work happens. Contacts come first.

Do this next

  1. No contact → find or add a contact
  2. No score → run scoring
  3. Thin profile + early status → fill company profile
  4. Has email + early status → send first email (with preview)
  5. Outreach sent + phone → call
  6. In conversation → follow-up email or set a date

Also on the record

  • Status, ownership, follow-up date / notes
  • Scores and opportunity (model figures)
  • Company overview, activity, tasks, documents
  • Prep: enrich, score, find contacts
  • Voice call (pick an AI assistant first)

Email from the drawer

  1. Click Email
  2. Review before send — company, name, address
  3. Cancel (nothing sent) or Send email

10. Scope — Lead email and Call recordings

These sit in the SEE sidebar but they are leads-file tools — the same apps as General Leads.

Lead email

  • Templates, quick send, bulk send
  • Analytics by file
  • Follow-up after a call on that file
  • Does not open the supplier you just viewed in the book

Call recordings

  • Pick a leads file, then listen and qualify
  • Does not default to the last supplier you called from the drawer

11. Scope — General Leads

File-based outreach workspace.

HomeNiche (Tech default). Find companies. Jump to the file tools.
LeadsUpload CSV/Excel, assign assistant, start calling the file
CallsOutbound log, status, qualification, duration, export
CampaignsMulti-step email + AI-call cadences. Test campaigns are archived.

ReportsOutreach reporting

12. Capabilities

Work the book

  • Import a spreadsheet or add one company by hand
  • Search by company, contact, email, phone
  • Filter by status, tier, industry, state, source, score / revenue / volume
  • Open any record; edit status, owner, follow-up, custom fields
  • Archive a supplier (do not use delete on real rows)

Reach people

  • Add a contact by hand (name + email and/or phone)
  • Auto-find contacts (paid; may return the company with no people)
  • Send outreach email from the record after preview
  • Start an AI voice call from the record (needs assistant + phone)
  • Log notes and activity
  • After a file call, send an automatic follow-up email

Understand the book

  • Fit score and tier
  • Today queues and who to work next
  • Activity feed, reports, CSV/Excel export
  • Call recordings and qualification on a file

13. Hard limits

These protect spend. They do not change scoring formulas. Defaults can be changed in environment config.

GuardDefault
Score / pipeline batch50 suppliers
Bulk outreach (book)100
File email blast200 per send
SMS blast100
Concurrent file dials5 (more are queued)
Soft daily dials per user500 (alert + hard stop)
Re-enrich cooldown72 hours (unless forced)
Re-score cooldown24 hours (unless forced)
Contacts per company lookup10
Company-lookup cache7 days
Default batch stepsScore only (enrich is opt-in)

14. Limitations

Product

  • Not a full CRM
  • Lead email and Call recordings are file pickers, not supplier-native
  • Not a second pipeline — Journey is hidden from Reports
  • Discover is a paid company directory pull by place, not open web search
  • Auto-find contacts often returns zero people — add contacts by hand
  • Activity Email/Call chips can only log a note (they do not send)
  • Tasks and Documents on the record are thin
  • Book “Next action” is often generic (Open record)
  • Live / No activity today is not system health
  • Today repeats the same queues in several blocks

Operations

  • A consumer AI subscription is not API billing. Scoring can fail if API credits are missing.
  • Email and voice depend on the live providers being configured.
  • File-calling webhooks must be a public URL.

15. Things to keep in mind — operators

The 10-minute job

  1. Sign in → pick SEE if asked
  2. Today → tap Need a contact or Ready to reach out
  3. Open a row
  4. If no email/phone, add a contact
  5. Email → review → send, or Call (one test)
  6. Set a follow-up date if you will come back

Spend

  • Discover Pull = paid lookup
  • Find contacts / Enrich / Score = paid
  • Send email and Call = paid
  • Use preview. Do not Score unscored on the whole book in a demo

Safety

  • Do not delete real supplier rows
  • Do not purge the book to clean QA
  • Partner file names and bank names stay hidden in the UI
  • Invite only people you have briefed
Work the book. Today tells you who. The record is where you email or call. Lead email and Call recordings are for lists you uploaded, not the company you have open.

17. Open polish (not release blockers)

  • Today layout is repetitive
  • Drawer has too many buttons
  • Book Next action often says Open record
  • Activity Email/Call chips only log a note
  • Empty Tasks / Documents
  • Live / No activity today badge is misleading
  • Duplicate files in the recordings picker
  • Workspace picker visual style
